What did Bitdeer report?

In its September update covering August 2026, Bitdeer reported 1,310 BTC mined, compared with 1,190 BTC in July. Its self-mining hashrate rose from 76.7 to 79.9 EH/s, while co-mining hashrate increased from 18.7 to 21.6 EH/s. Why distinguish self-mining from co-mining?

Bitdeer defines self-mining as its own mining equipment operated in company-owned data centres. Co-mining uses its equipment at third-party data centres. The reported Bitcoin production includes both. Keeping these definitions separate makes the expansion easier to understand without confusing deployed equipment with a single-site operating result.

What does this mean for an equipment buyer?

The encouraging signal is continued execution: mining capacity has to be installed, powered, cooled and maintained before it can produce useful results. A buyer can apply the same discipline at a much smaller scale.
